Who We Are!
2026 Board Members

Vice President - Dan Fortier

Hi, my name is Dan, and I've been playing disc golf for 8 years. I love the camaraderie and the relaxed nature of the disc golf community. This is my fifth year on the RDGA board after 3 years as president and one year as treasurer. My main goals are to work towards developing new courses and assist with RDGA initiatives such as the TDO. When I'm not disc golfing, I'm most likely being active in other ways, spending time with family and friends and learning about various interests such as nutrition, exercising, history, politics and public affairs.

Program Director - Samantha Dustyhorn

Hi, I’m Samantha Dustyhorn, and this is my 5th year playing disc golf. I’m always on the go—if I’m not out on the course, you’ll likely find me on the soccer field. When I’m not playing sports, I’m probably in my garden, walking my dogs, experimenting with new recipes, or brainstorming fresh ideas for disc golf with my friends. I’m excited for the upcoming season and wish all you slingers the best of luck. Most importantly, I hope you all have a fun and enjoyable season. See you on the green!
President - Zachary Sauve

Hello, my name is Zac! I have been playing Disc golf for 5 years and everyday I wish I found the sport sooner. Which leads me to my goal and the reason I decided to join the RDGA board, to help grow the sport and introduce it to as many people in my community as possible. I very much look forward to helping in any way I can for the 2026 season!

Treasurer - Harjot Rudiak

Hi friends! My name is Harjot, but many of you may know me as Jo. I discovered my passion for disc golf three years ago, but my love for disc sports began seven years ago with Ultimate Frisbee. When I’m not out on the disc golf course, you’ll likely find me at CrossFit, camping, judging cheerleading competitions, or walking my dog, Rey. I’m a CPA accountant with over seven years of experience, working extensively with nonprofits and charities on audits, reviews, and bookkeeping engagements. As the RDGA treasurer, my goal is to streamline the financial processes to ensure future treasurers can easily manage the organization’s financial information. While I personally love working with numbers, I know they’re not everyone’s favorite. I’m excited for the year ahead and to contribute to the continued growth of this amazing sport!

Maintenance Director - Laurie Free
Hi! My name is Laurie Free, and I’ve been playing disc golf since August 2020—around 5 years now. I really enjoy being out on the course, taking in the sights and sounds of nature; it’s such a refreshing experience! I’ve joined the board as a Member at Large, and I’m excited to see what we accomplish this year. I hope the community gets out and enjoys the season!
Member at Large - Jonathan Achtzehner
My name is Jonathan Achtzehner and I've been disc golfing for the last 8 years or so. Disc golf has been a fantastic way to meet new people, get outside, and truly devote myself to the fine art of hitting first available. I've always appreciated the work the RDGA has done to raise the profile of disc golf and organize events for the community, and I'm excited to be part of the team. When I'm not toting around the most understable bag of all time, I'm working as a bookkeeper, directing choir, playing viola, running fantasy sports pools, playing board games, or just being a dad. Looking forward to seeing you out on the course in 2026!
